Good food. Good service. Great bread and olive oil for dipping. My waiter Casey was great! Very helpful and good sense of humor. I would give 5 stars but they don't serve my favorite beer (blue moon).

Pretty lousy restaurant. It already smells bad, when you enter. And then you get very budget Italian food in a sterile and unpleasant environment for an unreasonably high price. Avoid by all means. You might rather seek a fast food restaurant.

A good happy hour if you sit at the bar! A very relaxed environment in this chain restaurant that is located in the heart of Miami Beach. It feels a bit corporate but you can't go wrong with the dishes. The service is really on point and ready to serve. Try the mussels on the appetizer menu -- You will not be disappointed.

The calamari is amazing. The bread is yummie. You can't go wrong with the Pasta Weesie.

Great food and great place. My wife and I got the chicken, delicious. My kids got lasagne and pasta bolognese, both very well done. It seems an Italian restaurant, not sure though.... Anyway, I can confirm the food was great, we have been served timely and the waiter had been very polite and professional. Price reasonable. We will definitely come back. Cheers

The restaurant was right next to our hotel so we walked into a strong odor of parmesan cheese place. It was around 9.30pm and the service was extremely slow, our drinks came after 30 mins even though we saw them ready by the bar. Food was okay, we got butter pasta, ravioli and fish. i enjoyed my peach sangria very much.

Saturday night we decided to go out for dinner and enjoy the winds of Erika, dinner was relaxed and healthy, this is a familiar restaurant the food is exquisite. I come to this place for many years, especially at lunch at the seaside and listen the sound of the wind.

OMG, a little slice of heaven. This was my first time at any Carrabba's. The aroma in the air puts a smile on your face. The service was exceptional and the food was mmmmm mmmm gooood. I had the Shrimp Diavolo for my appetizer. Oh my God I could have licked that plate clean. It was sooo good. I give it 8.5 stars. (The Bang Bang Shrimp at Bonefish Grill gets 10 stars). Then I had the Lobster Mac & Cheese for my appetizer. Jesus take the wheel! The combination of those two dishes..smh...my my my... if I wasn't so full I would have left doing cartwheels. My hubby ordered the mozarella sticks for his appetizer and the Chicken Parmesean for his Entree. Both amazingly delicious; cooked to perfection. No complaints. Everything was perfect. We look forward to visiting again.

I've been coming to this carrabas for quite sometime now whenever I'm in the beach area. I had to deal with a bit of a discrepancy with one of the employees but the manager Jason dealt with us in a very professional manner and knew exactly what to say and do to take care of the issue. I felt he deserved an honorary mention. The food is always tasty here so I will be returning.

I always see commercials for Carrabba's and get so sad because there isn't one in Pittsburgh, so I had to visit while I was in Miami! I was only going to give 3 stars, but the customer service of Rafael was superb! From the moment we sat down until the moment we left he made us feel like we were old friends. He was extremely attentive and helpful! As far as our food and drinks... I had the Toast of Tuscany which was light and refreshing and at $5 a glass it was a no brainer. I ordered a salad and lobster mac and cheese. I wanted ranch instead of Caesar dressing - but no ranch, at all, in the restaurant. Okay.... My friend wanted the Tomatoes Caprese, but they were all out. But they could make the Margherita pizza, which is essentially the same thing. So we were very confused as to why they were "out" of the appetizer. The actual food though was amazing! The lobster mac and cheese was the best. It wasn't a traditional Mac and cheese which I loved. It had large chunks of lobster and huge gobs of cheese. So. Delicious! The only thing I realized after is that we didn't get bread and oil like many of the other reviews stated were complimentary. Maybe they were "out" of that too. Hopefully they come to Pittsburgh so I can taste this bread!

What is great about this restaurant is it is in walking distance from our hotel. I'm giving 3 stars for the food and 5 stars for our server KC who was fantastic. We were seated quickly, got our food in a short amount of time and ordered the tomato basil soup, side salad and a rigatoni dish with mushrooms, chicken and sun dried tomatoes. The salad had copious amounts of dressing on it and I guess they couldn't put it on the side because I asked. They did put the olives on the side for me which was nice. The soup was pretty good and even better when you dip their white bread in it. My husband enjoyed his pasta and the portions were generous. This is a chain and the food isn't the most authentic Italian food you'd get from a real Italian restaurant but it was still good. KC was a great server and took good care of us which made the experience pleasant.

Unfortunately, the Tiki bar was a huge disappointment. There is a ton of opportunity to make the customer experience exceptional in this prime location. There was a real lack of personality from the staff, no fun happening and just a poor time at the bar. Overall, we had below average service with normal drinks.

Located on the first floor of the Marriott Courtyard, this location was convenient for us to walk to. We ordered two entrees, husband got the Pollo La Scala with fettuccine alfredo ($1.50 extra for the Alfredo pasta) and I got the Pollo Rosa Maria with garlic mashed potatoes. We sat inside not knowing that we could have sat outside by the pool area (what a bummer!!) but sat next to the window facing the pool area. Our server Eric was good and brought is a basket of warm bread and olive oil with herbs, which was delish. Our entrees took around 20 minutes to arrive and we were not disappointed. Husband finished his entree but my entree was fairly big and I could not finish mine. While we waited for the check I was browsing the internet for carraba's deals and came across a $8 off entire order, if 2 entrees are ordered ( carrabas.com ). We asked Eric and he said we could use the coupon. Score!! We have seen in Miami that a 15% tip is added when the check is brought out. We added some more since Eric honored the coupon and we enjoyed our meals. All in all an enjoyable experience and we'll definitely try this chain again.

Large Restaurant with an open kitchen. A bit noisy. I recommend the selection of three different chicken. Unfortunately and surprisingly, their most famous dish was not available on this evening.

We were staying at the hotel and decided to stop here for a quick dinner. They have a great happy hour until 7. The Tiki Hut on the beach is the way to go. We decided on the calamari and the mahi tenders. Both were awesome. I loved the fries that came with the tenders. The mahi is fresh, cut into strips and fried. You need to try! They are not your average fishsticks so don't think that. The calamari was also fabulous. This is a place that is worth a stop

This place is the worst!!!! I mean, the inside looks fancy but the food here is really shameful. No, really...if I were Italian I would be soooooo embarrassed. The service was just okay...nothing to be amazed about and it's always COLD as hell in this place!!!! The parking-sucks!!!! **Note: If you are dating someone that's worthless and you want to feed them then this is the place to come! So, check it...I ordered their new shrimp and tomato risotto-it was the WORST risotto that I ever had...it was over cooked, the tomato sauce tasted like it came out of a can and the shrimp needed some more seasoning as well...Wow..if this is how you create a **NEW item on the menu then where are your standard Carrabba's??

One of the only Italian restaurants we could find around here. Nice and close to the hotels on Miami Beach. We got the Chicken Parm and it was amazing! We also got the Caesar salads which were perfect! Is connected to the court yard Marriott FYI.

This Carrabas is special..the service Iis whoa!..for Miami Beach thats like a miracle? Calamari is the best by far of all Ive ever tried..its a good large portion and their garlic mashed potatoes is a star item..their Fetuccini Alfredo is lucious and not heavy..and love their hot italian bread served with olive oil and their special seasonings..wow..cant say enough about their food and their great service! Not to mention its right on the beach...just finish your dinner then take a stroll on the boardwalk right behind them on the beach!

This place is just all kinds of awesome. I've eaten here many times and, although it IS a chain restaurant, it's no Olive Garden. This place is the real deal in every way, from the freshly baked bread to the amazing herb spread (there is a lady who comes in every morning and chops everything fresh) to the delectable pastas and scrumptious desserts. On my most recent visit, our waiter was a very nice guy named Eric who provided excellent service and was personable and nice. None of that South Beach attitude one often sees. In fact, there is no pretentiousness here whatsoever. Plus there is usually no wait for a table, though the place is always pretty full because it's so darn good. The prices are quite reasonable and our dessert (see pic) was out of this world. Definitely check this place out!

Very important note: if you include a tip in the bill, what would you expect from your services? This Carrabba's in particularly has services issues; I had to ask twice for spoon, napkin, bread and in all the request took so long. The bill came more fast than a Raptor, food quality and taste is better in Tampabay Carrabba's.... I love Carrabba's food but this it is not in my menu for 4ever.

I often order carryout from this location and only because the food is consistent. But unfortunately the service is horrible. Tonight I called and placed my order and 30 minutes later when I arrive to pick it up I'm told they just found out that they ran out of pizza. How does it take 30 minutes to find this out? Management was no where to be seen and never came to me to apologize for the issue. This place would be great if they hired better servers and had some management present and addressing service issues. Sad part is that I have had issues such as over charging, long waits and rude attitudes. Not to mention the pressure to leave a 20% Tio which sometimes is automatically added to the order. The beauty of it all is that after leaving withy order I found I had been over charged again.

As a solo traveler, eating out can be awkward. I was staying at the Courtyard for the night before going on a cruise. Not knowing the area, I decided to have dinner at the attached restaurant. My waiter, Rafael, was absolutely amazing. He talked to me and made suggestions about the menu. He basically chose my dinner for me. It is chain restaurant Italian, but I can definitely say that it is just as good as my future Mother-In-Law's. I was made to not feel singled out. Rafael and myself had a great conversation. It is a little pricey for the portion size and menu, but not out of hand. The apple pie was to die for! I was stuffed, but I had to finish it.

Avoid. Ordered Mediterranean Salad with grilled chicken and sent it back because it was missing everything... artichokes, olives, feta, peppers, etc. second attempt had lots of onions and tomatoes but everything else was still missing. After complaining they took 1-beer off our bill and said we should have sent it back again if I was not happy. Great location but horrible kitchen and customer service.

  • Darshan V.

Absolutely the worst service and food I've ever had. Incredibly rude and incompetent waiter. He messed up all the orders and the check and when we asked for the manager to fix the check, the manager was actually less help than the waiter himself. Next time, just find someone on the side of the road to go pick you up bad Italian food.

This place was close to the hotel we were staying and walking distant (We stayed at the Eden Roc). My expectations I guess was that it was really close to Olive Garden but I was a little disappointed with it. My husband on the other hand really loved it. The bread - I can't remember how it was and that says a lot because I can live off Bread. I did have Sangria but I felt short changed. I ordered a quaratino but felt that I should have ordered 2 glasses and would have gotten more. Taste wise it was just okay. I ordered a marghertia pizza and it was extremely salty and not all that good. Again compared to Olive Garden I much rather stick to O.G. It gets a 3 star because there is nothing near there but a subway and it comes in hand for those trying to stay in budget. The waiter was okay - we ended up pouring our own water and trying to flag him down.

Just left this restaurant after having our Sunday evening meal here and I must say that the food was lovely. I had a wood grilled chicken breast with garlic mash for mains and a desert trio for desert. My favourite desert from the desert trio was definitely the butter cake with fresh fruit and cream but they were all good. Soft drinks were refillable and bread with an olive oil dip was served free of charge at the start of the meal. The things that I have marked the restaurant down for are as follows: - 1st - Service - although the service was fast, the waiter seemed very uninterested in servicing us, was very blunt and seemed a bit rude when answer some of our questions about the food. One of which being, could we order a side of fries. - 2nd - they do not do fries!!!!!! - 3rd - the decor was a bit dark and old fashioned for my liking but everyone has different tastes I guess.

We were greatest by friendly staff, felt welcomed and enjoyed the atmosphere. I ordered the pollo Maria and we had the chicken parmesan flatbread to start.. I'd post a picture of the food but it didn't last very long... The Food was AMAZING!! hands down best chicken I've ever had!! We will go back again, forsure!!

I picked up the food and I was disappointed that the food was sub-par to other carrabas. There was no bread, the romaine in the salad was old, and the pasta was overcooked. The chicken was perfectly cooked however but the calamari was over seasoned. I was excited when found the chain on the beach, but it's worth it to travel further mainland for better quality.

  • Jude E.

We almost didn't come here bc of the bad reviews on yelp. Why the haters gotta hate? This place is good; the prices are great; the staff was friendly. The chicken soup was delicious - great chunks of chicken meat and a spicy broth. The pasta pomodoro was delicious. And the fettucine carrabba had a great sauce. We ordered a side of broccoli and even that was spiced well and enjoyable. Our waitress was a touch on the air headed side but all was forgiven by the good food. Are there better Italian restaurants out there (probably even in Miami) but this one is good and I'm giving it five stars, although it probably should get four, just to counteract some of the undeserved one star ratings.

  • Sabrina Anna C.

Dear Carrabba's, I have enjoyed every meal I've ever eaten here. Honestly. That makes me one of your biggest fans. You are located on Collins, north of South Beach, around 38th street, on the first floor/inside of the Courtyard Marriott. I love this location because one of my BFFs lives 10 blocks away and we walk over here on the beach boardwalk. After the huge meals we devour here, walking back to her place is always a plus! On our most recent visit, we had the best server, who deserves a shoutout: Eric!! He was phenomenal, ensuring we had everything we need, always checking back in with us and ensuring to bring everything we asked for very quickly. Thank you Eric! I also made it a point to let the manager know as we left. ;-) The food here is always great. I don't think I've ever been disappointed with an order, and I am SUPER picky when it comes to Italian food. No, I'm not Italian, but it is my favorite food and I try to have it whenever I can. Lately I've been disappointed by restaurants too often, so it's always great to have a delicious Italian meal. I know this is a chain and all of that jazz, but the food really is great. I had the Veal Piccata, which is lightly breaded with a lemon butter sauce that is lick-the-plate good! I ordered a side salad to go with it ($3) and it came with a side of garlic mashed potatoes, which were also very well made. My love had the Spiedino Di Mare, which are scallops and shrimp that are coated with Italian bread crumbs and grilled and topped with the lemon butter goodness sauce. He opted for a side of fettuccine alfredo. My bff had the Pasta Weesie, which is basically a fettuccine alfredo that comes with mushrooms, shrimp, and scallions with a lemon butter white wine sauce. I am so glad I got to try everyone's plates. Everything was superb. Let me not forget the soft, warm bread that is brought out at the beginning to be enjoyed with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Who can say no to bread?? I swear it's not just because I'm pregnant... We ended our meal with a perfectly-made cappuccino instead of dessert. A great meal with great service makes for a very happy (and returning) customer. Thank you Carrabba's!! I'm sure we will be back very soon. Happy Preggo, Happy Life, SabrinaAnna*

The worst service EVER!!! Rude waitress, food took an hour to come, we complaint to the manager and his reply was well we are very busy and we'll see what we can do! The staff needs to get a reality check on Good customer service skills , Never coming back

This is for the BEACH BAR. To be clear, I am not big on complaints. There was a handful of servers and only a few customers. I was walked past for 20 minutes, so when they finally came to me they comped my first drink. I asked for a water, beer and shrimp tacos, I got my beer, no water, then my shrimp tacos came out. Three shrimp, gross chopped lettuce, and tomatoes on a grocery store tortilla, and a styrofoam cup of cucumbers. When I was done it took another 20 minutes, and flagging down a different server to clear my table (all of my things were blowing around), get another beer, a water, and the check. Once again, no water. Server was Alisha.

****This is for the outside Tiki bar only****** My mom is in town & staying at the Courtyard Marriott that this place is at. They have a 2 for 1 happy hour from 4-7. Includes all draft beers, liquors (even top shelf) for single liquor drinks. The bar staff outside were nice and efficient. The only way I would drink here is with the special. It was $9 per vodka soda (although they do pour them decently strong!), so the 2 for one made it only $4.50 each. Much more tolerable. It's just crazy to me that a chain can jack up their prices so much just because they are in SoBe. FYI - gratuity is included in your bill. The patio is nice, relatively quiet with a steady ocean breeze. Decent place to chill for happy hour on the ocean.

This restaurant is married to the Courtyard by Marriott Miami Beach Oceanfront ( yelp.com/biz/courtyard-b… ). During the first night of our stay, my wife and I ordered room service from this restaurant: Italian salad, rustica pizza, linguine pescatore and a bottle of Rodney Strong Pinot Noir. The order came quickly (under 25 minutes), which was good. The food was underwhelming, with the pasta being the worst. The delivery boy who brought the order opened the wine bottle but had no cups for me. He promised to get me some, but he never came back. It's not the first time I drank out of a bottle. Just kidding, I found myself cups. The tiki bar outside, which connects to the boardwalk is the biggest draw. Locals come to this bar after work and hang out. Christian, one of the young bartenders was very cool and always reminded us of 2 for 1 drink happy hour (4pm - 7pm) every day we were there. We took advantage of it, except that when a drink is $10, you can do the math. 15% gratuity is always included. Crap. I did appreciate the female bartender who gave me the extras cup on the frozen margaritas I ordered. Thank you again. At the bar, we tried a salad and mahi mahi, which was better than our room service experience. However, I would still stick to the drinks and the ability to strike up conversations with friendly locals at the bar. To the Spring Break girls who were drunk, singing to their boom box (and I thought that only happened in the Boogie Down) and tossing ice across the bar: You b-tches were so pathetic. I don't want to know if you woke up the next day with post-coital dissonance (staring into reality - some dude who could have been as old as your daddy)... but you're now armed with a great Spring Break story! At least I was entertained... the bartenders were too. IFHTP 3+

This is my favorite restaurant ! ALL the food is excellent, nothing on the menu is bad. The place is very casual and there's a Tiki bar in the back by the pool , the bar has two tv's and its a great hometown local atmosphere as opposed to too touristy like so many other places on the beach. The service is EXCELLENT,no one is less than respectful and on top of things. We love Jaime , she has been there many years and she knows our drinks and our choices, even our child's name ! The downside, NO PARKING !! Valet is expensive bc it's part of a hotel so it's like $20 to park but if you take a few trips around the nearby blocks across the way, you can find parking. Note: Be careful not to park right on the side of the restaurant there are limited spaces and they WILL tow you out .

I generally don't want to like chain restaurants and rarely feel compelled to review them, for that matter, but I have been to this (and only this) Carrabba's three times and am thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food and service. I went last night with my family and friend and had an excellent meal. My highlights from last night were the Spiedino, which are sea scallops and shrimp that are breaded and grilled (unusual but tasty preparation) with garlic and lemon butter, the daily bruschette, which changes but has always been fresh and chunky, and the Chicken Parmesan. All the food is full of rich and bold Italian flavors. The complimentary bread is excellent and I recommend the creamy Parmesan salad dressing. Prices are reasonable and all the specials include soup or salad as well as a side. With only a handful of restaurants in the immediate area and surrounded by hotels (it is connected to the Courtyard by Marriott), Carrabba's is always packed, which means the food is always fresh. The kitchen is open for viewing too, which is a plus. Jamie has been my server every time I have went and she is wonderful.

I been coming here for years it is nice to have an affordable restaraunt in South Beach. I also like that if the weather isn' t that great out they offer valet parking for $5. There is also a ton of meters in the area so parking is easy. The prices are great, and so is the quality, This isn't a fancy place I see people in shorts. They give you very good hot crusty italain bread with this amazing dipping olive oil sauce. I always start with a side cesar salad the dressing is homemade and really good. I order for my main my entree I love to order the chicken martiano comes with fresh mushrooms, grilled chicken, and rigantone noodles with dry shaved riccoita ontop. If you are not looking to spend South Beach prices this is the place for you to check out !

So when Obama was in Miami last week my roommate and I were stuck in bumper to bumper traffic, dead stand still, while Mr. President was being transported to the Fontaine Bleu. Can't Obama be helicoptered in so us little people can go about our daily lives? ;) Oddly it was slightly exciting to know we were so close to the president, especially since being from California, most of the time he is all the way across the country. So I might be inflating my stars just because I associate this bar with this story. So take the four stars with a grain of salt. =) Anyway it was slightly fortuitous because there we were stopped right in front of the Carrabbas on Collins so we said eff it and pulled over for happy hour. =) (Obama: thanks for ruining my diet that day) We got the 2-for-1 margaritas which were sooo yummy and quite large and came to $4.50 each during happy hour. They do want you to have two each though for the deal. No happy hour deals on food but I ordered a BBQ pizza and the crust was flaky/crispy/crunchy amazing-ness. I'm sure that there is a lot of butter involved in making it but it was delish and one of the better deals on the menu if you're just looking for a low cost happy hour drink accompaniment. The bartender wasn't very sincere-- he threw in some eye rolls while serving us. The host was SUPER nice though and helped us understand what the heck was going on with the traffic and Obama.

This review is for the Carrabba's part of the restaurant that is outdoors along the Miami Beach boardwalk. Out front on Collins, on the first floor of the Courtyard Marriott is the standard restaurant. But if you walk to the back, beyond the pool; you'll find quite a different experience. An outdoor tiki bar with a straw roof, Caribbean music, the whole 9. There isn't a lot to the menu. It's pretty much abbreviated from the real Carrabba's restaurant out front. You'll find burgers and appetizers and an elaborate tropical drink menu. The Happy hour runs from 5p-7p and it's great because you're right there on the beach boardwalk. I've often ran past it on the boardwalk wondering what it was exactly. I'm glad I made a separate trip just to try it out. You can't really go for a run down the boardwalk and stop in to gorge out on fatty apps and fish bowl cocktails, now can you?! Hmmm.... maybe that doesn't sound like such a bad idea after all : ) Service was iffy at best, otherwise I'd give it 4 stars.

Nice place. Random fountain that didnt belong in the restraurant. Very Casual place, there were several people coming in with wet clothes from the beach/ patio. Dijon is the Serbian waiter, and he is awesome. He told us where the hotspots where since this was our first time in Miami. Food was ok. Alfredo sauce is very thick and rich and if you dont eat fast, it will thicken up and not taste good. Prices are fair for the location.

If you'd told me a couple weeks ago that I was going to A) Enter a Carrabba's Italian Grill and B) Have such a memorable experience there that I'd venture to give the place 4 stars, I'd probably have died laughing. Or slapped you. Or both. As it stands, though, when Jeff and I recently vacationed in Miami, we came across this location, nestled between the boardwalk and the Courtyard by Marriott. We'd spent the afternoon on the beach, and now Happy Hour was calling, and this place seemed to be the only thing hopping. So we shrugged our shoulders and gave it a shot. And a damn good thing we did. While it wasn't the most spectacular sangria I've ever had, at $3 a pop (2 for 1 specials for Happy Hour also included domestic drafts and house wine) there wasn't a whole lot of complaining going on. Jeff snacked on the bruschetta and I had the homemade potato chips drizzled with melty blue cheese crumbles and scallions. Seriously tasty. Meanwhile, a musician played guitarioke to some pop songs a la reggae. Granted, anywhere else this might've been completely hokey and irritating, but on the massive patio setting, palm trees swaying overhead, ocean waves breaking behind us, it was the perfect icing. Our server, despite the busy hour, was quick with the refills and the check when we were ready. Keep in mind, this Carrabba's appears to be an entirely different being than the other franchises, so the experience is probably unique. But we left so satisfied, we decided to screw the cab ride and walk the 25 blocks home along the beach instead. I loved it. I would go back. A lot. Just don't tell anyone. ; ) ~a

Ate here one night while staying at the Courtyard next door; reliable as are all Carrabba's locations. The restaurant also does "room service" at the Courtyard as well as the menu for the Courtyard's tiki bar; it would be nice to have a more expanded menu at the tiki bar versus the limited bar food/appetizers/munchies only.

We went last night for dinner. The staff are great, our waitress was Kelley and she was outstanding, extremely attentive. I had the Red Sangria and it was very very good. The parmesan house salad is very good. I had the chicken cannellones which weren't the best I've ever had, but ok. My boyfriend had the veal marsala which was very very good. I would go definitely go again and try either a chicken or veal dish. The service is really really great.

Opened at 4 on the dot. I was the only Monday customer--service was impeccable-friendly, classy, immediate. I began with the delish cream of tomato soup, followed by a 10 oz sirloin in marinara sauce. I'd been advised that this Italian place had the best steaks in town, and they didn't steer me wrong! Mmmmm. Chose the spaghetti pomodora for my side an unimpressive glimpse into the Italian side. Didn't like the 15% tip pre-written onto the bill (I would've given 20%) but their loss. $25 tab with water for beverage. Two hours later, fire department on scene--not sure what that was about since I viewed from the sidewalk. Steak lovers certainly owe it to their palates to try this place out!

I had gone to a Carraba's once before in North Palm Beach, FL, and I wasn't too impressed. But I decided to give the chain one more chance and checked out the one near the Fontainbleau hotel in Miami Beach. What a difference! It was large, well-lit, and service was awesome. Once you walk in, you will immediately notice the comforting scent of the wood burning grill. Smells like a campfire. You will also also notice that all of the staff members greet you, which gives the place a bit of an upscale feel. It's a casual establishment. Patrons are in shorts and t-shirts, which is understandable given that the restaurant is located right on the beach. My kind of setting! The food was delicious. I'm a vegan, so there are not that many options on the menu for me, but the Tag Pic Pac signature pasta dish (Tagliarini pasta in Picchi Pacchiu sauce with crushed tomatoes, garlic, and olive) was out of this world. It can also be ordered with whole grain pasta, which is kind of neat. Our waiter K.C./Casey was very attentive and knew his menu well. If you're going to check this place out, ask for him and you'll be guaranteed a good dining experience. For dessert, a John Cole (Blue Bell vanilla ice cream with caramel sauce and roasted cinnamon rum pecans) was ordered with the pecans on the side for me. The pecans were delicious, and as far as I can tell the ice cream wasn't too bad, either. Valet parking is $5 and there is metered parking on the side streets. They meters shut off at 6pm, which is perfect if you plan to have dinner here. There appears to be outdoor seating by the ocean, which I definitely plan on checking out for lunch soon. This place is great, and the prices are reasonable. A bit more expensive than Olive Garden, sure, but at least Carraba's food doesn't taste like a microwavable meal lol. If you like Italian Food, check this place out. You won't be disappointed.

Great chain restaurant that offers authentic style Italian cooking. I went with the Tag Pic Pac with chicken which consisted of flat spaghetti style pasta topped with an olive oil sauce with garlic and crushed tomatoes. I thought the dish was very good, it cold have been better if they had used real tomatoes instead of the sun dried tomatoes. The sun dried tomatoes gave it a stronger, more intense tomato flavor which sort of drowned out the olive oil and garlic. Using the fresh tomatoes would have given it a more delicate flavor. This dish also included a choice of grilled chicken or shrimp for a few dollars more, The service was great, I ordered my meal to go as my hotel was right next door. But they included everything I needed in the bag from plastic wear, bread, my pasta dish, parmesan cheese, and a pouch of live oil for the bread. From when I ordered to When was walking out the door took about 15 minutes.

Carrabba's is your average hotel bar, so don't go out of your way to come here. The wine was a 2 for 1 deal, but turned out to be terrible, which was not surprising considering it was served it plastic water cups. The chicken wrap was basically mush in a tortilla, and had a piece of cartilage in it. The "restaurant" was next to the pool and there were several shirtless smokers eating here. Overall, don't come here unless your already at the beach or pool.

This place is fantastic and has great food at reasonable prices. It's classy but casual. There is a cool fountain there that changes colors every few seconds. It has a romantic vibe to it. We got complimentary bread that was warm and fresh with some olive oil with herbs in it and it was really good! For the appetizer, we got the fried zucchini with some kind of spicy mayo sauce that was really good for $6.00 for the small order. It was cut up like thin french fries and was great. I got the chicken parmigiana for the entree and so did my husband for $16.50 for a large portion. It came with the vegetable of the day which was broccoli with olive oil and garlic, or your choice of pasta and your choice of soup or salad. I choose the Caesar salad which was perfect. Everything was really good. And to think that I objected to this place since I wanted to try the local cuisine but my husband insisted that we go somewhere nearby so that we didn't have to walk to far. I'm glad that I ended up listening to him. The service was fast and excellent. Our waiter was attentive and filled up our water glasses and my diet coke without us having to ask. It was a bit pricey though at $3.50. For dessert, my husband got the chocolate mousse with coconut for $2.25. We didn't ask for an extra spoon, but our waiter gave one to us. It was really small, it came in a shot glass size practically but was really good. I wish I got one for myself. If we ever come back to this area, we'll definitely come back here to eat.

visiting from california and travelling from the crack of dawn, we were starving by the time we got to our hotel on collins by late evening. walking up and down the streets, we saw there weren't too many restaurants on collins. we stumbled upon carrabbas (i believe it is part of the marriott), and decided to eat there as it was really packed (good sign) and there was nothing else in sight except for mortons. the restaurant was very lively and packed with people. however, it was so dimly lit. i know restaurants, especially italian ones tend to be darker, but this was to the point i could hardly read my menu. we started off with the appetizer sampler (fried mozzarella, bruschetta, and calamari). we were so starved, we scarfed it down. the calamari was a bit on the salty side, the fried mozarella was so-so, and the bruschetta was delicious! i had to try to flag down our waiter multiple times for the bread, and again, this was probably my crankiness showing because i was so hungry. i wish he had offered it to us after we put in our order, instead of receiving it after we got our appetizers. for our entrees, we got the penne franco (changed it to linguine) and the penne with fennel sausage pomodora. the sausage dish was just okay, the penne franco, it was very different. it had no sauce, so i felt it was a bit dry but the noodles seemed to be freshly made, and i liked that a lot. overall, the dishes were just mediocre, but i will say, the prices are very reasonable. quite cheap for the amount of food they give you. made excellent leftovers for us the next day.

I've been her a few times for dinner and they never disappoint me! Their bread is amazing, you dip it into an olive oil mixed with spices and herbs. I've tried many of their dishes and they have all been great! My favorite so far has been the manicotti. The establishment itself is well kept and very clean. It's right on south beach as well so its a good place to go for a dinner date. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well.

Review will be split in two, as I review both their outdoor dining and their indoor. First outdoor. The staff are very attentive and fast. Jason, Alicia and Jay are awesome servers and will get your meal in 10 minutes flat. Drinks are pretty potent, and we highly recommend the crispy calamari and the chicken fingers with the honey mustard. We can never get sick of either, and both were in our daily rotation. Hey! We're on vacation! Fried foods a must. They need to spray their outdoor dining area a little better or put up more citronella candles, as there are mosquitoes galore. Indoor dining: the ladies bathroom needed some attention. The servers were a little bit slower, but the food was pretty good. The lobster ravioli was awesome, ditto on the appetizer platter with the infamous calamari, decent fried mozzarella, and goat cheese spread; and their margarita pizza was fresh, light and well seasoned. A nice restaurant in the Marriot hotel for casual dining. A great option, as there aren't too many dinner options in the area.

I realize this is a chain but we are from California and we were staying in Miami Beach at the Claridge Hotel just a few blocks away so we decided to try it out. We had a pleasant experience overall. We were instantly seated on a Thursday night and our waiter was extremely nice and helpful. He gave us tips, being that we were from out-of-town, on things to see, restaurants to try, and things to do as well. He also kept our kids entertained by bringing them small pizza dough balls to play with. Foodwise, we enjoyed our meals. Decided to splurge on the special of the night, a breaded, grilled red snapper which was delish! My wife had the pork chops and they were huge and tasty (obviously brined, which is always a good way to go). Our kids loved the fried calamari and the pasta. If we didn't want to try out different places in our short stay in Miami, we would have eaten here every night. Glad we tried it.

Fabulous grilled salmon from Norway cooked to perfection. Asked to substitute sautéed spinach for the potatoes and it too was delicious. The Parmesan cheese salad dressing was so good we wanted to drink it! My friends had vanilla ice cream with pecans and homemade caramel sauce... They didn't leave a drop. We were very pleased and told Chef Mgr Phillip as much. Too bad we live in California!

I will never come back to this location unless it is to have a drink at the Surfside bar. We came here for my brothers birthday and it was disappointment after disappointment. We couldn't order food from the restaurant at the bar so we went inside. Their was a strange smell and the hostess couldn't get her act together. We told them it was a special celebration an they tried seating us in a corner by the bathroom and fire rescue team dealing with a medical emergency. When we asked to be seated at a nice table by the window they said the section was closed and couldn't be opened because the waiter hadn't arrived. We decide to eat at Surfside carrabas and order our food to go. We asked if we could at least have plates they no chance. We end up eating out of to go containers. Now I know why I avoid food chains like the plague. Carabbas is a cookie cutter organization where service is not their #1 priority.

I've been here before and enjoyed it. Tonight was pretty poor. First, we had to ask for their specials menu. After that, service was poor. 19 minutes to the flatbread. And they used frozen, chopped spinach on it. Killed any hope of good flavor. 14 minutes AFTER we finished the flatbread, the salads arrived. Wife's Italian salad was good, my Caesar was drenched in dressing. Borderline edible. Then 24 minutes after we finished (not kidding) we got our entrees. To be honest, my wife's checked arugula was very tasty. My chicken piccata was bland. I thought I was in an old folks home. And the side my wife ordered was not delivered. All in all, very very disappointing.

Great food! The calamari was excellent (and I HATE calamari!). Boyfriend got the filet with shrimp and scallops and said it was wonderful. I got an entree with three chicken breasts cooked differently. Enough food for two meals! Our waiter, Dijon, was great. I highly recommend and will be returning!

We stayed in Miami Beach for a couple of days. Because I must eat gluten free food, we searched here on yelp.com and found this Italian Grill with a Gluten Free Menu. That must be great! Or? At the restaurant I got my special Gluten Free Menu. So far so good. The gluten free menu was nothing special. Than I noticed that they written "Our waiters ha no or little knowledge about gluten. Please inform them". What? Dont they have afford to give an hour or two to their staff and teach them about gluten? When they came with bread, they had nothing for me. Why have a gluten free menu when they don't even got gluten free bread? The food was nothing special. They had only one gluten free dessert and it didnt seem to be good, so we left quickly and disappointed.

Just had a delightful meal there! Started out with a limoncello martini and fresh, hot bread. Portions are huge! Appetizer was garlic toasts served with goat cheese medallions floating all melty-licious in a warm marinara... YUM! A cup of minestrone and some calimari, and I was so full! There was enough food on the table for 3 people. Fabulous service. Delicious food. I was impressed. Highly recommended

Definitely worth a try. The crab cakes and calamari were fresh and yummy. I had the filet bryan, which was cooked to perfection. Our waitress was extremely friendly. Service was quick. Try the blackberry sangria if it's available. Not a fine dining place, but clean and good atmosphere. Great prices for the area and quality of food.

What attracted me to come here was I had a coupon that I wanted to use. Unfortunately, that discount was not worth the visit as the food is not that good. If you want good satisfying Italian food, you should not spend your money or time here. Tried the shrimp risotto and lasagna and the shrimp risotto was gooey and taste was bland. The lasagna was okay. Food came out room temperate. I regret coming here for dinner.

I knew that Carrabba's was crappy, but I thought we might be safe just ordering dessert. WRONG. It took a half hour to bring one tiramisu and one panna cotta. And they were both awful. The panna cotta was complete liquid and the tiramisu was heavy and tasteless. The service was inattentive and clueless. Never ever will I make this mistake again.

My new favorite place in South Beach! We were having a rough travel day and the staff & management made it so much better. Thanks to Cynthia and Herman! I recommend the lasagna and my friend enjoyed the salmon. Customer service is as important to me as the food and the service provided exceeded my expectations and I eat out often as a business traveler.

Went there on Monday night for my son's birthday. It took a few minutes to get served but once we did, the food was very good as was the service. Yes, it's a chain so you aren't going to get first-rate italian cooking but for a casual dining experience, it's pretty good.

Great happy hour from 3-7 pm where many drinks are half priced and the appetizers are nicely discounted, too. Flat breads are good and the caprese salad is delicious. We made the appetizers "dinner" a couple of times during each visit to the area. 5 stars for the happy hour..

The worst experience at an Oceanfront Bar/restaurant on Miami Beach! The outside bar where i had a couple beers were served warm. When I first arrived I asked for a Stella and it came in a can that was warm & so dirty that when my GF wiped a napkin on the rim of the beer the napkin turned orange! After cleaning the dirty can we had to put ice in the cup.Than I told the bartender how warm it was & so he recommended a beer from tap. So I ordered a Peroni. The beer on tap was also warm & had a horrible taste which gave me a headache afterwards. The beer lines were most likely dirty & haven't been changed. I'm a local & this place is horrible. Food was ok but their bar service gets an F.

Came here with my partner cos I was feeling kinda fancy after getting a $50 gift card for Xmas. Went overboard as a result - got a couple sexy beers in a slender glass, a horrible excuse for bruschetta (don't get that), and my standard pizza pie. Our waiter was a cool cat, but the highlight of the night is a toss up between a woman pacing back and forth through the restaurant cursing at someone via her mobile phone, or taking the satisfaction away from a Miami beach rent a cop by arriving at the car instants before they tried to tow ( real talk - watch where you park here, it's deceiving by design.)

Parking can be a real pain, I tried to come back Saturday and there was nowhere to park and their valet was spilling over on the street without an attendant in sight. The food is tasty, but way too salty. I do prefer Carrabba's over Olive Garden though, but as you may already know, there are better and more authentic Italian options out there.

Fabulous service and excellent food! We have been having dinner at this restaurant for two days in a row. Today in particular the food was excellent. I ordered the Sirloin Marsala and Mahi Wulfe combination. The beef was tender and with wonderful flavor and the Mahi couldn't be better. We ordered for dessert Sogno di Cioccolata, a brownie with chocolate source and vanilla ice cream to die for! Yummiiiiii The best part was the waiter. Flavia, an Argentinian lady with the most beautiful smile all the time. She was very helpful with all recommendations and she also has excellent customer service skills, which nowadays is difficult to find with so many restaurants around. Would I recommend this place..... Absolutely!!!!

I love this place! Everything was awesome! I had steak and it was delicious! My friends had spaghetti, two different kinds of pizzas, and sister had fettuccine Alfredo. Everything tasted great! The only reason why i gave them a 4 out of 5 is because when i ordered cosmopolitan, i didnt like it. It was too strong to the point i didnt taste the sweetness in it its pure alcohol. On the other hand, our server Oscar was phenomenal! He gave us an awesome service!

Location: Facing ocean in the "hotel district". Setting: upscale but somewhat noisy (maybe good for family with kids or large group). Food: crab cakes appetizer is fresh and tasty, Jonny Rocca Salad is delicious with grilled shrimp and scallops but a little heavy in sauce. Champagne Shrimp and Scallop Linguine is so so. You need to ask for bread although it is free of charge.

The best food is inside in Carrabba's and the prices are incredible. Outside there is a special tiki bar/hut on the boardwalk which has a completely different scene and even different food with an island feel like mini burgers and fried calamari. My only complaints are that the fried calamari tends to be a bit over-salted and over-fried and if you really want that exceptional Italian food you must sit inside the restaurant which can be a bit heavy on the food smells (definitely in a good way but in Miami why not enjoy the fresh air?).

    (4)
  • Eric N.

Food excellent. Service not so. There was a game on the TV and we happened to be sitting as close as you can get, a hostess sitting another party who was more interested on the game mentioned she would sit them in our booth, but "they" (referring to our table) are in the way. Classless, rude and very unprofessional. Minus two stars for that interaction.

It may look very inviting and cute outback by the beach, lights and a Tiki hut, but do not be fooled. We sat there for 15mins before someone came up to us, finally a girl came over to offer us menus. We said yes we would like some, she then disappeared and never came back. Finally we asked another girl for some menus. It was happy hour, we asked what was included? After she explained the drinks we specifically asked "if there were any food specials included in happy hour"? She replied "Yes, all appetizers are 1/2 price" Ok, so we were ready to order, but again there was no one to be found. Except the one girl at the bar, so we decided to move over to the bar so we could get some service. This poor girl was running the show all by herself. I turned around to see every other waitress sitting at a table in the shade eating food together. Not impressed! We ordered our food and drinks according to what we had been told were the happy hour specials. When it came time to pay we were asked if we would be paying cash or credit card, which we thought was strange but answered. Then we were given our bill with full price appetizers listed. We explained that we were told the appetizer were half price during happy hour. She said no that was not the case, who told us that?" I pointed out the girl to her. She went over to the girl and said something then came back. The girl serving us was nice enough to honor what we had been told but told us from now on no food was included in happy hour. All I wanted to say was "If you don't tell customers that food is 1/2 prices during happy hour then we wouldn't think it was!" I would never ever go back or recommend this poorly managed and terrible serviced restaurant to anyone.

While strolling along the beach during sunset, my boyfriend and I stumbled into this bar. They had a sign raving about their blackberry sangria so of course we had to try it ourselves. Well their blackberry sangria was great and since we visited during happy hour, they were offering buy 1 get 1 free, which made the sangria even better! Hung around the bar while watching the sunset and chatting with the bartender (Sal) was a great touch to ending a Monday.

Meh . . . Nothing to write home about. Typical Italian food. This location has no view. The atmosphere is like that of Olive Garden or Macaroni Grill. Ok to eat here if in the neighborhood but there are better and nicer Italian restaurants in the area. I gave it 3 stars because the food is good but I expected more especially since it's right on Collins. If your going for a special dinner go somewhere else like Prime Italian for example.

Olive garden beats this restaurant any day. Papa johns beats their burnt crust, dry, no taste dinky pizza. Overpriced food and drinks lacking quality....take a bus to south miami and you will find good quality and great service at a good price. I wasted 45 dollars at this restaurant but it will be the last time I waste my money at their restaurant. Server was horrible..ive gotten better service at Red Lobster and Olive Garden... Total waste..save your money..you will waste at least 40-60 bucks..and it will not be worth it.

Went to their outdoor section just off the boardwalk and waited a good 20 minutes just to have a waitress saunter over. Actually all three of the harried waitresses ignored us until my husband went over and jovially asked one of them if someone could possibly make her way over to take our order. We ordered white wine and basic fish dishes, which came out in a timely manner. Our white wine was splashed with reddish liquid. "Oh, that's just a little red wine mixed in" our waitress giggled. Hmm. Then the fish in both our dishes was dreadfully over cooked and dry, while the bruschetta appetizer tasted of stale bread with some chopped tomatoes piled on top. Oh well, at least the wine wasn't splashed with blood. It could have been worse, I guess. Too bad, for the location is great; were the food and service better, this could be a destination restaurant. As it is, it's just a place to get a bite of mediocre food.

This place is in the Marriot Cadillac Courtyard and I suspect if it wasn't, they'd be out of business. There's not a lot of parking in this area so I'm sure guests in the hotel go here so they don't have to get their car out of valet and try to find a spot somewhere else. This was the case with us. I had been to a Carrabba's in Charlotte and it was pretty good. Nothing like this place. We ordered the mussels for an app. We's had them at the one in Charlotte and they were very good. Not so much here. They poured the liquid into the serving bowl without straining about an entire cup of chopped garlic out of it. The bottom of the bowl looked like vomit because of it. Very unappetizing. I ordered the chicken parmesian and spaghetti. The waiter came over and grated cheese on it but I looked under the cheese to see that it was black and badly burned. It should have never made it out of the kitchen. I sent it back and they brought me one which was better but still a bit burned. I was not offered any grated cheese this time and they had put the same order of spaghetti back on my plate. It was cold and haphazardly placed on the dish. Now, I wasn't expecting much as this is basically an Olive Garden clone but this is one of the worst places I've ever been to. Avoid

Very disappointed. Ordered Room Service inside the Courtyard Marriott Miami Beach Zucchini too SALTY! (3 of us were going to split it & we couldn't even eat it) I asked for Side Salad $6 w/Blue Cheese Dressing. They charged $11.50!! (For a Large salad w/Blue cheese crumble) That was NOT what I ordered. No where on the menu does it show Small or Large. It just shows "Side Salad $6" It also shows: "add $1.50 for Blue Cheese Crumbles." (Which I did not request)

Nothing really to write home about. On par with Olive Garden or Bucca Di Beppo. Menu was blah, did enjoy the meatballs, sirloin spiedini and fresh sautéed green beans. I wish they had a "make your own pasta" option like Macaroni Grill. Overall It was decent, but better mom and pop options like Prima Pasta near by.

This restaurant is always crowded and it's a very large comfortable place right on Collins. When I'm down in Miami for work I usually eat here at least 3 times a week. Either with friends in a comfortable booth by the bar or take out to hotel. They do not deliver but they have a take section in the restaurant as it is a popular place. The food is very good. It is a chain restaurant but Much better than your typical Olive Garden. I'm addicted to their warm bread with olive oil and spices. Also the garlic shrimp starter. So good! I recommend the combo dinners so you can try different things. I usually order the pasta special (all are good) or the chicken Parmesan. Everything is good. The desserts?? forget about it. Get ready to go jogging the next morning. But if you want to treat yourself and burn off the calories the next day. this is your place. Service is great, friendly, large portions.

We ate at this restaurant on Saturday night the food was good the service was ok so on Wednesday night we decided as it was in walking distance we would eat there again we went in were promptly seated and that was the extent of our service. 15 min later we walked out have no one had attempted to even acknowledge we were there. I told the hostess as we were leaving what happened she was shocked and apologized I will never enter the restaurant again.

This place is one step below an olive garden. The fact that gratuity is already factored into your bill, when you stop ordering, they stop checking in with you and providing service. The bathroom was dirty and the lasagna was cold in the middle. Probably from frozen. I've always wanted to visit a Carrabba's and now I have. Thanks, but no thanks. 3 out of 5, for the food and service.

What can I say we went here only because of the good reviews on yelp. Did not disappoint!! Everything was to die for the shrimp scampi is a must have and the lobster ravioli are bomb.com amazing. Food portions are good, and drinks are cheap yet strong. The only down size is the servers they are all out of the 1920's. old but nice. IE she didn't know what yelp was. The scene is very casual great place to start your weekend off. Oh almost forgot the bread is good too even better if you have them toast it a bit longer.

Only thing I liked are the drinks. The food was "ok," as in ... It didn't wow me. I sat outside at the bar to enjoy the outdoors with some friends and although we only had appetizers and some entrees, I kind of looked at it as average. The piña colada was the highlight of my visit though!

Wow the service was amazing at the tiki bar. Sal and Esme were very friendly and quick taking our riders despite a busy bar. Also Bailey, Fernando, David, y Jorge were very friendly even though they weren't our servers. The food as good and Happy Hour was great. The prices can't be beat in the area. Great job guys!

Most unhygienic and unsanitary establishment I've dined at in a long time. The bartender literally was eating behind the bar while frequently using her bare fingers to wipe the corners of her mouth and lips without a napkin. She was trying to be discrete by shoving her face full of food in the corner of the bar wedged next to the cash register. She'd then turn around in between bites of food and make drinks and grab plates of food from the kitchen and serve them directly to bar patrons. I watched her do this to four different tabs of patrons. She. Never. Washed. Her. Hands. In. Between. Stuffing. Her. Mouth. And. Serving. Patrons! She wasn't using utensils, she was eating with her fingers. It not only made me loose my appetite but it was also the nastiest crap I've observed in a food service establishment in a long time. Having waitressed myself years ago to afford college, it was always driven home that you don't eat in front of patrons. Hell, you don't even apply Chapstick behind the bar or while serving. You do that discreetly and in the break area AND you wash your hands. How do we know you're not getting over a cold??? How do we know you don't have herpes? She needs a food service sanitation course, stat. I'm seriously contemplating calling the manager. Because if they aren't giving that gal breaks to eat, they clearly need to start. It's called a break room for staff... That's where you eat, bartender. Not to be overlooked either was the slowest service this side of the Mississippi. Took my waiter more than 10 minutes to initially find my table and greet and take my drink order. I had to catch the hostess as she finished seating another table and ask her if I'd been assigned a waiter because it took so long for him to pop up and over. Once he made it, he was kind, but slow to make timely rounds. Maybe he was eating in a corner somewhere too in between serving patrons. Took forever to bring the wine, the bread and oil plate, the entree, the pen for the tab, etc.... You get my point... He was dragging his tale. I dined here at 10pm on a Friday night and the place was half empty. So I didn't understand the slow service or the bartender acting as if she was working so hard she couldn't get any nourishment in. The ambiance (or what ambiance could have existed) was thwarted by the cooks loudly cussing at each other and cracking crude jokes. I'm no prude but I don't want to her about the female the cook bagged while I'm trying to eat. Between them and the bartender, I couldn't figure out if I was in an alley or Carabba's Italian Grill. Won't. Be. Back. & They'll never get my hard earned dough again. The risk of germ passing isn't worth the subpar food.

Ate dinner here twice this week while on vacation. Both meals were excellent. Had a seafood pasta dish one night and grilled chicken the other. I enjoyed the flavor of both. The olive oil and herb mix that is served with the bread was also excellent. I would definitely visit again if I ever get back here. Went for a third time. Even better!

This place is probably one of the best values on Miami Beach. Food is of excellent quality, staff is very friendly and the prices cannot be beat. The restaurant is a little dated, but I could care less and will definitely return.

My fiancee surprised me with a birthday dinner my first time at carrabas but his repeat time. Saturday feb 15 2014 around 6:30 pm. Our excellent server was ray from puerto Rico! Having been a server myself and having a brother in the biz his whole life, I understand the pressures and demands of this fine and challenging craft. You rely on the whole team to provide the customer with the kind of high quality experience that will have the customer coming back and spreading the good word. All the while the server takes the hits when anything goes wrong. Something did go wrong ..my appetizer came out with butter sauce when we specifically asked to leave it off. But its ok because mistakes happen! It is how the mistakes are rectified that sets good customer service apart from the rest. We got the deeeelicious muscles and really enjoyed them! In addition to the great customer service, i was pleasantly shocked by the freshness, quality and flavor of the food. And believe me I know good food! My ex husband and his whole family cooks only fresh and from scratch and this was better! Shhhhh don't tell my ex mother in law! Ok I will stop now because other readers might think I either work for carrabas or am getting paid to write a positive review. If you are still reading, I do have 1 complaint. The restaurant located at the Marriott valet parks and they clearly rummaged through our car! I felt violated and do not recommend using their valet or at least make sure not to leave valuables in the car. We mentioned it to them and they said they would talk to the person who parked our car.

We went here on our first night in Miami Beach simply because it was within walking distance from our hotel, but it turned out to be a great place. We were seated very quickly and throughout the evening it looked like they had plenty of seating for a normal dinner crowd. Our waiter was quick and friendly and our orders went through without a hitch. Prices were surprisingly reasonable considering the nearby competition. The kitchen was wide open for viewing and looked very clean, well-staffed, and well-maintained. I had the Classic Italian which consisted of a slice of lasagna and a piece of chicken parmesan. It tasted great and the portion was just about right for a big guy like myself. I'll definitely go there again if I find myself nearby.

Meals here were excellent! The food is rich and you can tell it is made from scratch. The lobster Mac n cheese was amazing and they did not skimp on the lobster by any means. We got there around 7:30 pm and did not even have to wait. I did however to find the restaurant to be too cold even with a jacket. The service was also horribly slow and the waiter did not come back to check on us once. It also took the server over 15 minutes to give us our bill after our table was clear.

Lobster mac and cheese entree arrived 40 min after appetizer. The lobster mac and cheese was so over comes the oil had separated from cheese sauce and there was no lobster in it.

I went to this restaurant because it's not too far from the hotel I was staying at. I like the fried calamari. The shrimp fettuccine alfredo was ok just not the pasta. I didn't like the texture of it. I came out of there very full. The waitresses there was very friendly and helpful.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
